I was going through old records and found a receipt for 500 rounds of 5.56 for $170.
And then I cried a little inside. Not outside where everyone could see.

Do you already have the Radian? I ordered a build kit in November and I am still waiting on it. To make matters worse, I have been trying to call, and sent several emails and can’t get a response. I am just trying to make sure they have my FFL’s info. They are also showing a 10 month wait now.

Got my uppers back from being pinned and welded. Final barrel length 16.18 inches.

Just curious, how much did you pay for a pin and weld job?
The reason I ask, is because it seems like a very simple procedure... Especially with a Mig welder. I would guess gun shops are probably Making good money off of these jobs. From what I can tell, it's a out a 20-30 min project at best.

For those that shoot AR-15's and AR-10's, we know one of the "few" things that is undesirable about the rifle platform is the annoying spring reverberations felt and "twang" sound of the buffer system. I have 2 questions about reducing recoil and eliminating the sound.
-What buffer system upgrade did you use in your rifle? Is the H2 weight adequate for 75 grain ammo and higher?
-Has anyone replaced their buffer system with the JP Enterprises Gen 2 Silent Captured Buffer Spring System? Are there any other systems that anyone has experience with that made an improvement over reducing/eliminating the sound? I was firing my Diamondback AR-10 at an outdoor range last week, and the recoil seemed stronger than before with no change in ammo. I'm looking at the JP Enterprises buffer spring system to replace the factory one. I was firing Lake City 7.62 x 51 150 grain ammo.

I have one and in my .223 16" barrel other than the sound of the spring I don't notice a difference.
However, in my .300 blk sbr it makes for a much smoother action when it's suppressed.
This is in comparison to a regular run of the mill H2 buffer

The JP Enterprise spring buffer system has eliminated the 'twang' sound in your AR-15?
Hopefully, someone on the board has upgraded their AR-10 buffer spring system because that's what I'm really interested in hearing.

Yep, outside of that I didn't notice any difference when shooting. Guess I could have worded my response earlier in a better way, it does not have that spring sound at all.
Pretty expensive change compared to a regular H2 buffer and spring to get rid of a sound.
But it was well worth the difference with my SBR

We owe it to all those we’ve lost and to all those left behind to grieve to make a change. The time to act is now.

Yes on 2 guns. It’s a game changer in my 300 BO when shooting subs.

I'm still looking for that elusive AR-14 rifle that creepy Joe spoke about last year. Maybe those won't be targeted for confiscation.
