Is there a way to move the scope up some? It’s sitting at front of the pickatinny, not like the pic I provided.

Is the scope mount similar to the one in the pic? It seems to me that if it was you could flip the mount around and move the scope forward a little. Eye relief distance might become a concern though. I have a Burris P.E.P.R. mount for 1-6x Strike Eagle one on of my AR's and the back of the scope is 5/8" forward of the rear edge of the charging handle.

If you have the coin the Razor Gen 2 1-6 is badass. For a $1000 optic the Glass is amazing. It’s built like a tank as well.

I have a Trijicon 1-8x26 on my ar-10.

Scope seems to be absolutely bulletproof. It's FFP and a 34mm tube so may be heavier than you'd prefer but I could not recommend this scope enough.

It's pretty great.

Have you looked at a Radian charging handle?

Get a mount that shifts the scope forward, assuming the eye relief will allow for that.

Or get an extended charging handle

The Razor and Trijicon are both nice but heavy. Not that im trying to keep it feather wight I would just like to get something a little lighter on there if possible. I also want 2 maybe 3 and that would hurt the wallet

I have a Leupold VXR 1.5-4 Patrol with firedot. It has a pretty good zero top for the elevation. They are $500-$600. Nice optic for the $$$. My 12 yr old can hit a 12 inch gong out to 300 yds with one of my SBR's that has this scope.

They dont make that one anymore...they do have a VX Freedom AR thats only 9.4oz but only a 4x and idk about the 1.5 part. I would have to look through one and see.

I didn't realize the new razor gen 3 was out and is a 10x. Looks nice but 21oz....but a 10x. Does that color match the Danial Defense milspec+ color? My DDMV4V7 LW has the milspec+ color...and is LW...maybe a good match

I just have the furniture but thats a good look.

Got a link for that AR? That thing is badass. Looks like a DD but can't find anything with that type of hand guard on their website.

ETA: Found it. DD ISR

Da fuk, for real why?

Yea 21oz isn't that far off of the 1-8s I seen especially for a x10. THats really reaching out for regular 16" ar.

Do they do well in low light for hunting?

It's basically a spotting scope on my rifle (that I built for long range shooting).

Do you really need 6x? You'll get better quality and lighter weight glass for the same money in a 1-4x than a 1-6x if you aren't wanting to throw a lot of bank at it. For hitting man sized targets out to 600 yards 4x is plenty. I am disappointed if I don't put at least 9/10 shots through the 9 ring (18" diameter) at 600 yards shooting high power using just a loop sling for support and I'm not nearly as good as most of the high power shooters I've met.

I've heard good things about the SWFA-SS 1-4x24 though I've never seen one in person.

Exactly. If you don't need it in a scope, don't get it. Illuminated reticles, target turrets that can make a perfect box, increased power range; all that stuff costs money and that doesn't go towards the glass quality. And it adds weight as well.

All true. While I’d like to have this setup for the impending zombie attack, later on I wouldn’t mind taking it to ear hole some pigs. That’s why I’m hung up on a higher power...but I’m still looking around.

Looked up some reviews on YouTube and a lot of people have been giving them a lot praise. According to their website, they’re supposed to be $18.

LINK /

They really feel no different than a Pmag.
