He’s an LSP trooper and good people.

May be retired now, I’m not sure.

Should have parts arriving over the next week or two

PSA Lower
Aero Upper
Armaspec ambi parts kit
CMC single stage flat trigger
SBA3 brace
SLR 6" Helix
Q HB 7" Barrel
Radian raptor ambi charging handle
cherry bomb muzzle brake
DD pistol grip
strike industries curved foregrip
Faxon LW BCG

Receivers and handguard will be cerakoted Noveske Bazooka Green

Eta: Any opinions of EOTech with magnifier? I'm thinking most use of this gun will come from walking through the woods for hogs and shots will be close but it'll also come out on the boat with me and I could have longer shots where I might want the magnifier.

I have a 4x ACOG and it's awesome. That being said I wouldn't spend the money for a new one. I would rather a 1-4 variable scope for half the price. The fixed zoom is just limited compared to a variable optic.

If you can find one used for a good deal then go for it. I found mine on bayoushooter for $500.00 on a bobro mount. I couldn't pass it up.

4x ACOG

Love mine as well. I heard a story about Trijicon demoing them to the Military. Sales guy zero'd his rifle with his ACOG took it off and threw it as far as he could. Told a general to go get it. Then told the General to throw it back to him and it hit the ground. Picked it up and put back on his rifle and still on Zero.

US Optics throwing their scope

I love these videos.

American Precision Arms Paragon

APA has like 9 videos where they try to destroy one of their rifles.

You had to drop to the 6” HG?

I would go 1-x as well over a fixed 4x

I like the LPVOs, but my favorite combo is an EXPS 3-0 and a G33. Everything I need and easy enough to take off the magnifier if I don't want it and enjoy the sight picture of an EOTech.

Yep had to drop to 6”. Should be sweet once it’s done

Do any of y’all have experience with that Vortex? Or any other suggestions in that range?

Not that one but I bought a RZR Gen 2 HD 4.5-27-56 to put on my new bolt action build.

I've been extremely impressed with that scope. Bought it used for way less than used on snipershide (lots of the 1-6s on there) mainly because of the warranty.

from 600-700 yds I can see individual leaves on trees.

Damn, $500 was an absolute steal. Those were like $1500 back in the day. They shouldn't charge you either once the tritium needs replaced.

Well bought a SpaceWalker-15 lower.. Don't feel like waiting the 4-6 weeks for my Alien-51 to come in.
Everything should be in early next week and once I drop off receivers for cerakote I'll be ready to build.

Has anyone here gone through the suppressor process with Shooters in Lafayette? They and bayou state have the silencershop kiosks i figure will make the NFA process easier.

Damn son that thing is nice.

Jimbeam, I’ve used a Kiosk in St. Bernard. Doesn’t get much easier honestly
