Looking for good prices on quality equipment. Not in the market for Noveske or Larue, but don't want shite. This new build will be budget. Looking to make one with an 18-20" barrel to make a varmint rifle.

Quick question for an AR noob. What are my optic/sight options for this with the fixed front sight?
Also, thinking about just going with this Magpul rear flip up sight. Are they pretty much designed to be the right height to fall in line with the front sight?

You can run whatever optic you want, more than likely you wont even see the fsp especially with a magnified optic.

yep. any BUIS, flip or fixed is designed to work with either a front sight post or any other front iron sight

Hey guys, need some suggestions for a 20" AR. I have two 16 inchers, but just bought a new Nikon 4-12x scope so I want an AR that can snipe the arse hair of a fly at 300yds. Any suggestions around $1000?

My DPMS 20" upper will shoot 1/2MOA all day long. Got a 4-12x Redfield on it and it doesn't skip a beat.
I got the upper on Midway. It was a little below $500.

Dont you already have a carbine? Cool thing with the 18" is that it will run just fine with your carbine lower.
