OK, I disagree with him there. This should be a State issue. feds have no business there.

I agree, but since they wont butt out, they have to lay out a plan of action for them to take in the right direction. The feds wont let it go, especially not the current admin.

I agree with armed guards at schools.

But I think the best solution would be a couple of guards at each school, and then the removal of gun free zones so teachers could be armed as well. Citizens are the first responders. Period. Cops play cleanup.

I agree he did well, but its going to take a lot more than that to stop any regs.

I'm against it. Too many crazies attracted there. We will have a teacher caused shooting, and that will do damage.

I'd agree with you, but that's the case with every profession.

Agreed, all it takes is one idiot to point the gun at a class in a joking manner, and this will all be for nought.

I never said hand them out like candy.

If they have a valid CC permit, I don't see what the big deal is. They have been deemed responsible enough and know the punishments for breaking those rules. And trust me, they are FAR more severe for CC holders. We have an entire community to represent nationwide.

If they have additional training for this exact school shooting scenario, or even repeat visits every couple of months, I bet teachers who are capable would do it.
