Nope, last kayak I had had a hole in it. I sold it to some unsuspecting sumbitch though.

Teal hunting will get good around middle of next week in South LA. Looks like temps will drop to about mid 80s.

I am hunting in Saskatchewan right now and we killed about 30 teal yesterday. Our guide said they normally do not have any here at this time of year. Think it will be slow for us but i'm still headed out this weekend.

The teal can literally show up overnight. If we cool off, they will come.

We are still way hotter than the averages and I'm keeping my eye on the tropics

Yep.

Might not even bring shells. Going regardless just because I can be in the woods with a shotgun

I spent the whole weekend down in the atchafalya delta and didn't see a single one. A bunch of mottled ducks though

Haven't heard anything good from Venice either. I saw one small group and guy nearby said he saw 1.

I scouted last monday and lost count around 40. Went 2 days later and only saw one group of 5.

Who knows..

I'm not very confident in the ducks at this point. I might pack it up and head to orange beach and go fishing instead.
