Went yesterday. A good selection of bay boats there. They had all the regular brands you'd expect to see. There were 3 Blackjacks on display not far from the entrance. Lots of really nice boats just very pricey! My son wanted me to get the 24 ft BlueWave Purebay with the 300 Yamaha. He liked the sound system and clear livewell on the console??

I didn't even look at the prices on the Pursuit and Contender types, the bay boat prices gave me enough sticker shock.

Didn't really notice them to be honest. I know Bent's had a few Xpress models and saw aTracker display. I really was just focusing on the bay boats

I heard it was a waste. Not a lot of variety. Zero surface drive boats, kayaks, etc. Just a lot of sticker shock boats.

Only saw 1 yak and a couple surface drives. My son was talking to a salesguy about a surface drive but I kept walking.

That's because the majority of people that attend don't go there looking for kayaks or surface drives.. And I believe Cottonmouth Boats is there, so that at least one surface drive boat dealer that is there.

I went last year and found it helpful to compare all the bayboats in one place.

The new ones gave me sticker shock and bought a 2014 xpress a couple months later.

It was cool, the 43' Everglades with 4 350s was dreamy.

They had some high prices but a few deals were reasonable.
If you like bay boats, it's a good visit.

I went last night to look at trolling motors....no trolling motors.

Overall it pretty much sucked. There were some nice Blackjacks and a very nice 45' Everglades

And party barges, lots of very nice party barges, if that's your thing.

Just came back really enjoyed looking at the bay boats. Kinda picking out what we want in our perfect fishing setup. Honestly I was always a fan of the 24 foot bay boat but after looking.. for fifteen thousand cheaper I think the 22 gives you just as fishable of a boat and setup almost exactly the same.

Boat show winner for me was the 2200 purebay followed closely by the 22 foot nauticstar. Surprise contender was the 22 for sportsman.

My ranking was mostly decided off of fishing deck platforms configurations, storage and center console configurations.

You should check out the 22 ft Robalo Cayman if you like the nautic star. It is the most bang for the buck in my opinion.

Went yesterday kicking tires on a potential next boat. Having gone to this show for a long time but haven't been last few years, it's still by far the best way to get hands on about every major brand of bay boat around. No not the boutique builders but most that you see on the water. Wall to wall boats and vendors

Leaning toward Sportsman after spending a lot of time crawling around in them. Have had two Nautic Stars and don't have a lot to complain about but Sportsman is using better hardware on the hatches and has some other nice access and storage features that NS has still not improved.

In any case, if you're in the market, it's worth going to see them all in one place.

Pretty much what I felt too Timmaay. I liked the Epics also. My dad had a Blue Wave when they first came out, was a good boat but those Puebays are Sweet!

I was there yesterday afternoon. I thought there were not a lot of people there from what I remembered. Last time I went was 9-10 years ago.

Agreed - seemed less crowded than normal. The Crevalle 26 foot bay boat was impressive. Anyone have any experience with those?
