MSRP ranges from $1600 to $2400 depending on options (like carbon fiber barrel)

ETA: I want to ask if Christensen is making these rifles for Springfield Armory.

I can understand introducing it in popular calibers for sales, but 6CM & 6.5 PRC leaves me scratching my head.

6CM sure, but the 6.5PRC is what the 6.5CM should have been from the get go.

Lots of $600 rifles will shoot 1 moa out of the box, so why spend $2k?

Similar statements can be made about any product available on the market. It’s not a linear correlation between price and accuracy. However for the features I’m seeing on these rifles I see why they are over $2k. Trigger tech triggers are better than any stock trigger you will find a rifle, and you add in carbon fiber stocks and barrels. Presto you are at $2k.

This argue is so stupid to me.

Do you have Cowboy boots you wear? Did they cost $200 or more?
Heck you can go to walmart and buy a pair of tennis shoes that do the same thing for $10.

What about you vehicle?
What about your house?

Just a stupid arguement.

Why? Because I want to.

Because 1 MOA may be the best the $600 dollar rifles can do.
if you reload, you can get 1/3 MOA or better out of rifles with quality features:
-the trigger breaks like glass
-carbon fiber barrel blanks start at $700 from CA ($900 for a Proof)
-the barrel harmonics are like a match barrel with the weight of a sporter
-the barrel rifling quality control is much better
-the bolt & receiver are already blueprinted
-chamber is reamed to allow for greater seating depth adjustments (VLD bullets touching the lands)
-$600 rifles dont have carbon fiber kevlar stocks
-the adjustable stock for good check weld & ergonomics
-you're paying the licensing fees to Kuiu & Kryptek for the stock colors

...what am I leaving out? Not trying to be a smart arse, I've looked at cheaper rifles and what it would take a gunsmith to get performance where I wanted it. And I was right back up to $2k....so I just bought another christensen.

But you may ask, "Duckhammer, why go to all this expense and trouble for a hunting rifle?"

I was wondering how long this would take. With $600 rifles carrying 1moa guarantee, you gotta do better for $2k+

I cant believe weatherby wasn't firstm

It looks pretty damn sweet. Price point doesn’t seem that ridiculous. Comes in above x bolt and the likes but below The Fix by Q
