Camo goes out of style, guns are made to last a long time...

No it isn't. The modern black shotgun has a rust resistant coating on it that just won't rust.

Sons were given each a Stoeger M3000 for an early Xmas present. Nice gun for a good price. Personally i shoot a 10 Remington Express pump. Cheap gun but shoots and kills just as well as any other gun. Its not the gun, its the person shooting the gun that matters.

Anyone pick up the new Browning A5? Interested to hear some reports from the field. Seriously considering getting one before big duck. Currently shooting a Browning Gold and love it...just it's nine years old, time for an upgrade.

Frick! If that's as long as a Browning is good for, then I'd be damned before I'd buy another one

I bet it will be a really good gun, I just have a bit of a bad taste in my mouth with the gun since the company has come out and said its a direct rip off of the SBE. I guess it's the best form of flattery.

Let me make myself clear because you obviously missed the point. The gun is great, it's 9 years old and I've put around 9000 rounds through it. I've never had a single problem with it. I just want an upgrade. The new A5 is lighter and not gas powered (kinematic drive) plus I'd like to hand my Gold down to my son in a few years. Not sure why you assumed I was saying the gun was no good.

They really need a sarcasm font on here. I was giving ya a hard time. They can call it Kinematic Drive or whatever they want to call it. The fact they had to go to Benelli to see how Brownings latest and greatest shotgun should operate tells it all. It tells me a lot when Browning goes to redesign their most famous shotgun, they just rename Benellis Inertia system. Hand the Gold down to your son. They are dang fine shotguns. Get yourself a SBE II or M2 Benelli. If the design was good enough for Browning to have to copy then it's the gun for you
