For my OB boys, so my buddy got a VersMax yesterday, went and smacked some doves with it, so far I am a big fan. Will see how it makes it through a rough duck season to get the final verdict.

VersaMax is a good gun. I doubt he'll have many problems with it.

I am a Rem man, born and raised, however since the buyout they have been putting out shite. Hopefully they can turn it around.

I've been waiting to hear something on the Versas.

I won a Stoeger M2000 (synthetic) in a raffle. Heard a lot of bad about em so I wasn't sure what to expect. Went popped a few rounds of sporting clays with it and was a little impressed.

Smooth cycling with #8 1oz loads, never hung once. We'll see how it does in the weather.

I own an old 870 Sportsman like it will never be built again. Solid, solid gun that I will never part with.

Same, I am the main reason he got the Versa
Going to cook at his house today where I will rip the guts out and get a good look at the bastard. (the gun that is) If I get another shotgun it will be a Versa, however it is on the forever long want list instead of a need.

I own multiple Rems, all 05 or older, some of my dads guns are older than dirt. The most reliable killing machines ever, love them.

Chaos, you hunt? Never see you on the OB, come visit some time, we always appreciate quality posters.

Depends on your price range. If you don't wanna spend too much, and want a reliable, good quality gun, you can't go wrong with the Remington 870 Super Mag. Bought mine in '07 and it's still going strong. Good thing is you can hunt anything from dove, to ducks, to geese. Handles shells from 2 3/4 to 3 1/2.

If you want a top of the line gun, go take a look at the Benelli's

I have a Browning Gold Trigger, she is older and takes high brass but reliable and accurate.

Versa max is a good gun. Very similar to it, I boughten 12 gauge Wincester Super X3 (SX3 for short). Awesome gun with low recoil.

Yep. I do more reading on the OB than anything. I'd post more but I've been overseas for a while so I haven't had much time for TD.

Seems like it's easier to pop in on the OT, be a smartass, then disappear for a while.

Beretta A400 Xtreme.

I am buying one during the tax free weekend..putting it on "layaway" Tuesday.

I have been saving for a couple of years and was going to pull the trigger on the E2. Now I have to decide camo or black.....leaning to black over camo......going with 26 as well.

I really don't think camo matters to much. I gave 2 black guns and a camo one. I think the camo is more for the hunters peace of mind.

All my guns are 26 in as well. I just prefer it. I feel like I can it a 26 on the bird faster.

A nice over/under will last a lifetime and be the envy of your friends. They might not admit it but it happens all the same.

The camo is more rust resistant than the black or wood stock.

I got a camo 870 Super Mag for a great deal at Bass Pro during their August sale.
