Hunt late on those full moon mornings baws...this guy showed up at 11am making a scrape.
39 yard shot with the new Hoyt Helix Ultra was his undoing.

The big, old six point I was after came in 45 mins before first light so hopefully I’ll get a crack at him when the rut get’s closer in 2-3 wks but I’ll take a three main beam non-typ in the meantime ;)

I watched a small 6 working a scrape on Monday.

That said most of my bucks are in bachelor groups, watched 2 that would score 140 eating 10 yards from each other.

Upstate SC

Oak flat is tore up with scrapes so the boys are getting ready for fun time but the does are probably 3 wks or so out. Usually last week of Oct is when they are hard into it.

Bottom of climber @ 22/23ft on that spot. High point on an oak flat that is a good pre rut highway as the boys troll through looking for the first hot ladies.
