First post, long time lurker on TD. Hope am doing this right. Caught this 8 lb 6oz beauty last Friday on Shearon Harris in NC. Am I holding her with proper OB form?

Post pics of it in grease. OB folks say the big ones should be harvested vs little ones.

First, congrats! That's a stud.
You need a few empty cans of Miller in the background and as mentioned the OB koozie and a hairy foot in the pic.
For a first timer 8.5/10, would be 7.5 but had to give a bump for the LSU hat.
I'm a tough grader, well done.
Edit: bonus points for actually posting your pic and not sketching out your face - 9.5/10
