Mystery Tackle Box- anyone get one of these every month?

I used to get them, started back when all they had was freshwater. I did receive a few nice baits that I've used (hollow body frogs being one of them which can pricy in the store and some nice Kanan swim baits). But I found that I received more stuff that I wouldn't use than I would. Then they branched over into saltwater so I switched my box to salt. The saltwater stuff really sucked the first few months, I might have gotten one decent top water. So I canceled.

That one sounds more promising

I'll admit, I feel lucky when I open it.

The mystery tackle box or the lucky box?

I got the mystery tackle box as a Christmas gift. Wasn't impressed. Now I've got a ton of lures that I don't use. I'd suggest spending the money on specific baits that you want.

I got a 6 month subscription for my birthday. Was a great present. You get to select between salt and freshwater and then you pick your fish species. I looked forward each month for my new baits to come in the mail. I was in the habit of buying and fishing with the same baits every time. It was great for me to use different baits.


Good present for those people who don't know what to get you.

I get the bass mystery tackle box and love it. It feels like my birthday every month when that little box comes through. I sometimes get some offthe wall stuff but for the most part I get awsome stuff. I like it because I get lures that I'd never walk into bass pro and pick up because they just seem to be to much but wind up boating fish.

Got my first saltwater lucky box in, I signed up late so I missed out on the fishbelly buzzbait but they subbed the sebile magic swimmer for me. I'm still waiting on mystery tackle box, which I won't get until September.

Marsh Works used to do a $25 mystery box that had $50 worth of stuff in it. It was a bunch of good stuff every time.
