Thermacell or one of those mosquitoes traps that go on a five gallon propane bottle. The first for north of I10 mosquitos the second for south of I10 mosquitos.

Cutter Backyard lawn spray works for a couple of weeks after spraying depending on how much rain there is also.

My neighbor's wife puts Rosemary cuttings around on their back porch. It seems to work pretty well.

If you sit out often, look into a fogger and use Talstar. You won't have mosquitos for a month.

I spray talstar with a backpack sprayer. Fogger would work even better.

I have been using Bifen IT mixed with water with great results. I spray my whole yard including grass, bushes and house eaves. I avoid flowers because it will harm bees. It takes care of mosquitos, red ants and spiders for up to 4 months.

I was told mosquitos spend the day on the underside of grass so a whole yard application works best.

Built a fan on wheels we roll out and we sit down wind (good for a group of people). It's a squirrel cage fan from a residential A/C blower and it has 3 speeds, 120 Volts. It's very quiet, very controllable, and no more mosquitoes. It's mounted on an old Gravely sulky with 16" diameter pneumatic tires.

We use it on high speed as a leaf blower on steroids.

This is what I do. A strong dose of Talstar at dark every quarter and I don’t have problems with them. I backup to a bayou so I Surat behind my fence as well and it does the job. I overspray i hate skeeters. I think I put out 2 acres worth last month lol

My personal house and I sat outside a lot? I would fog it. At our lake house we use fans and it works fine. I have put out candles and they’ve worked but you have to sit downwind

I spray Talstar once a quarter and don’t have issues. I turned my neighbor onto it as well which has really helped the cause.
