Looking at it closer, I think this hog was cut, re-released and fed up on sweet feed of some kind. No way would you eat a boar that big if it wasn't sweetened and cut. May have been cut after it got the tusks.

I had a female hog that had a nice set of tusk.They all have tusk,some bigger than others.

True, but nuts help grow bigger ones. That's an old hog so it may not have needed them to grow that much tusk.
