It’s 20th place finishers. They have 80 anglers and the top 40 get paid.

What jig head/hook do you like?
Core tackle hover hooks and ZMan jig heads. I fish this stuff on light tackle, and I lost a lot of fish using heads with heavy wire hooks.

They've even started showing the screen like we can tell anything.
It's pretty easy to see what's going on.

My bad, I meant 11-40 make the same 10k, despite the fact 11-20 qualified to fish on day 5 (and get nothing for it).

None.

I watched the entire final day yesterday. Connell put on a show. He had that honey hole saved up and went wild in the final period.

I sent links to all my buddies with Livescope. They mirrored their screens on the broadcast a lot and basically taught a clinic on how to do it. So in that way, it was worth a watch.

It never dawned on me just how bad this stile will be for co-anglers. Kinda glad I don't do pro-ams anymore. Can you imagine being the back boater where your pro is in 60' sniping suspended fish with a Dimiki rig?

I just went to Bass Pro in Bossier City on my lunch break to investigate. Crush City Freeloaders were all gone except green pumpkin and black/blue.

The secret is out. Those fish on Toledo are going to get beat up good the next few weeks.

Yeah, but that shite is harder than it looks. You can have a great day(I had one) and it can fool you into thinking it's easy. Most TB fisherman just aren't ever going to be in the right water to do it anyway.

I learned that dropshotting the last few years. You can find them, but that doesn't mean they'll bite.

I've never tried it with suspended fish, but I talked to my buddy with active target and we are going to give it a try sooner than later.

Tackle Warehouse isn't sold out...

Looking good. I have three sizes of spunk shad. Surprisingly, I have had my best day with the 5.5. I am betting they would have hit anything that day though. If you ever get to where you are doing more vertical than casting, look into the Core Tackle stuff. The Hover and Tush are both great.

This video game fishing is basically unwatchable - FFS has ruined the sport, for the fans anyways.

80 pros out here basically using the exact same rod setup and lure.

Can someone explain this to me like the last time I watched a fishing show the year started with a 1?

I looked at the hover. I like the weight distributed down the shank to keep the bait from nosing down. I just wasn't sure about how to insert it and get the eye out without ripping the nose. Thus, I went back to the z man jig heads you recommended.

Front
Facing
Sonar
Allows almost anyone without any skill to catch them IF you know how to use FFS.
I think he’s saying it’s boring watching everyone doing the same thing with the exact results.
I dunno, we grew up with Pong.

FFS (Forward Facing Sonar) AKA Livescope(Garmin) or Active Target (Lowrance), is real time electronics. Not a frozen picture, but active movement.

Most of the field, and all of the top 10 were using FFS, and throwing basically the same baits. (Simple jighead, and plastic minnow body ***See above picture of cart***)

Nobody that tried anything different had as much success as the FFS guys and in the end, the final round was 10 anglers "video game fishing".

Some people hate it, some people love it, some people just want to learn how to do it.

Thanks.

I feel like watching fishing tournaments is a lot like watching golf. That is time where you could be out there actually doing something.
