Check out the buckeye lures scope head. It has a lead sled on the bottom that keeps the bait horizontal. That’s the one I use.

I have seen numerous heads with that design and have never understood the purpose.

Yea I talked with Ben after all of that. We got it worked out. Not sure why, but apparently it was taken the wrong way as if we were out there trying to beat the MLF guys. We did our best to stay out of their way but still do our jobs as well.

Good deal. I like that guy.

To have her chirping at y'all and dropping his name, I was like, "what is going on here?"

Eta: Enough gossip. I was just waiting for you to post here so I could ask.

Back to MLF on Toledo...

Over/under: How many boats fished the main point in Slaughter Creek today? I'm setting the number at 30.

Dang. One of my favorite spots.

There are two coves back there that I have found the perches on the banks. One steep, and one not so much.

That’s where Connell was fishing.

My family had a camp near Shadows and Slaughter Creek has been a productive area for us for decades. Right around the corner coming out of Tennessee Bay. After hitting Turtle Beach on the way there of course…

Isn't there a movement in the fishing organizations to make this illegal?
