Have any of you had FedEx ammo shipments going through Baton Rouge have this pattern happen:

Scanned at Baton Rouge facility
Scanned onto vehicle for delivery
Not delivered
rescanned at Baton Rouge facility
Scanned onto vehicle for delivery again
Disappears with no more scanning

I had one two weeks ago follow this pattern and that vendor filed a claim against FedEx. I've got one from another vendor that is going through the second "scanned at facility and then onto truck" today. Tomorrow, I hit the vendor to file a second claim if that package doesn't get rescanned tonight.

It's looking awfully suspicious if have have two shipments "lost" in two weeks. It's not as if it's hard for a thief to figure out which ones to take. By law, they have to be marked "ORM-D small arms cartridges" on the outside of the box.

UPDATE: This time, FedEx finally delivered. My package was scanned on and off the truck THREE TIMES before they got around to actually delivering it.

count yourself lucky they didnt mark it delivered and never delivered it. i have had 4 deliveries like that (but they were lawnmower parts) and all they tell you is you are SOL since it has been marked delivered the seller isnt responsible for it any more and you need to take it up with the shipper.

the shipper will then tell you the computer shows it was delivered so go check you mail box or your neighbors mailbox. then they will say have a nice day and hang up on you.

FedEX shipped some fertilizer I ordered from Houston to Georgia. Now it’s stuck there for 3 days and no estimated delivery. Might just be unlucky

I contacted the seller for my package and was told “FedEx is experiencing higher than normal package volume and to be patient with delayed packages.”

People laugh at the USPS, but lately FedEx is worse.

I have a package that was shipped from Canada using Canada 's postal service. The tracking shows that the package was received at the International sorting facility in San Francisco on Sept 5. Has been sitting there since. I have emailed the seller and asked about it and I got a canned email back saying to expect delays because of the virus.

yea but i got scammed by the seller. I bought 2 batteries because it was free shipping and was a good price.... Shipping said 30Lbs worth of batteries were processed, shipped, and delivered within a few days. Rather suspicious for something heavy without paying an arm and a leg for overnight shipping. Any way looks like they just mails a letter to some address in my zip code and USPS said the tracking said it was delivered so i was SOL.

I’ve started requesting some other shipping method besides FedEx when I order if any other shipper is available through the seller. I ordered ammo about 6 weeks ago from a place in South Carolina, they showed it delivered to FedEx in 2 days, but it took FedEx 11 more days to make what would have been a 13 hour drive trip. And then when they finally did deliver it, they left it 4 houses down from mine and delivered that houses package to my house, how hard should it be to look at a number on a mailbox and compare it to the number on the package?

Had UPS today declare that my business was closed and returned my package to Port Allen. I was in the office all day. So they are full of shite. I just think the driver didn’t want to get out of his truck and come up the stairs.

Oh, trust me, I'd love to do that. With decent deals on ammo these days, you just buy as quickly as possible and hope for the best or you miss out on the deal. You waste time trying to change shipping and you might not get ammo.

Ammo shipments can suck... it comes down to the driver's preference.

I've watched the UPS "follow my delivery" map a number of times, and it pisses me off royally each time. The guy circles my house for hours, coming close, even within a street, only to drive away again. I've gotten deliveries after 9pm, or delayed to the next day (and they try to leave it at some crappy pickup place, which is unacceptable to me).

Here's what I think happens- the driver loads his truck, and that case of ammo is heavy. So he doesn't want to deal with it, and delivers everything else first.

I've filed several complaints with UPS, from missed deliveries, to one being after 10:30 (when he was a block over at 2pm).

I'd guess Fedex is the same way.

Currently have a case of shotgun shells whose scheduled delivery was Thursday 9/17 to now showing Pending for scheduled delivery date.

Last update is "Departed Fedex Location" in Memphis, TN on 9/18.

Don't know where to go from here.

This has happened to me before but with range golf balls. I sent the sender the tracking info and he actually sent me another order at no charge.

Fedex Sucks.

That means it's locked up in US Customs from my experience..so you're now moving at the speed of Government.

I think what I'm going to try on my next order is to ask that it be delivered to their location at the Walgreens down the street. You can quickly place the order and then log into FedEx once they have scanned it the first time and request delivery to a different location. Maybe if it's going from FedEx facility to FedEx facility, there will be fewer shenanigans.

Or, maybe changing things mid-stream just gets it sent to Uzbekistan.

We shall find out.

My recent experience with an order and it being stuck in “pending delivery” status makes me never want to use Fedex again...at least not voluntarily.

I have exclusively used FedEx for my business for 15 years. A recent occurrence with them will cause me to never use them again. Ever.

Even before that I was on the fence with FedEx because a couple of months ago my doorbell camera, and a neighbor's doorbell camera, caught a local FedEx delivery driver throwing our packages onto our front porches. And I mean shuttle-passing them like a football from 30 feet away. I reported it to FedEx and got no response.

TL/DR: frick FedEx.

Try having it shipped to your office. It seems home delivery is not a big priority, but commercial is. So it gets more attention.
