That said I think a far more likely situation is shite stays like this for 2 more years (or gets worse),Biden wins in '24, and states like Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, just say deuces and at least try to split from the rest of the country. Or you could do the same scenario with California and Trump or Desantis winning, though I don't think that is nearly as likely. It will be extremely chaotic in either case. Our current political climate is untenable and will come to a head eventually.

Things could get very interesting this fall if we see a repeat of 2020. We’re being told a red wave is coming in November. If we find ourselves in Electiongate II, and another election is stolen the good folks might decide they’ve got nothing to lose.

If shite hits the fan last thing I am worried about is ole green jeans. No seasons or limits in that scenario. I can see in the dark and will eat one way or another. Have over 50 lbs of rice some beans and various other non perishables. Need to stock up on salt and spices along with medicines

I have been preparing for about a yr now as far as essential food. I've always had BOB. Have back up place avaliable. Live 10 min to beach but farm is 30 miles inland. I believe it's very likely with ROE being overturned gas prices up economy in the tank something is going to happen. When Michael hit PC I seen how things went. People were still helpful but we had alot of outside help. Just be prepared and take care of your loved ones.

I’m currently putting together my tent camp at my place in Liberty. I have 80 acres on a dead end road. It has a water well and small creek. I put a 32*24 with 6 foot side panels Metal carport on it and will have a 14*16 canvas wall tent underneath. Just bought a Bluetti 700wt battery generator and will be adding 200watt solar panel to charge. Going to have a 2000 watt duel fuel inverter for backup. Getting a 60qt electric ice chest with dual zone. Tent will have a wood stove and sleep space for 4. Will use as a deer camp and a SHTF off grid spot. Hope it never comes to that though.

Open season. The day they get on that gravel road headed down to me, that’s the day they meet Jesus.

I don't think you get that kind of reaction over midterms

I get that in a historic sense. But after 2020 another bogus election that keeps the bad guys in place could remove any hope for the future in terms of the return of traditional American values and freedoms. Our rights are being removed little by little, and at some point that has to stop.

Two years ago I might have called that crazy talk. But after 2020, all we’ve learned about Russiagate, etc., I doubt nothing.

I’m curious also. I haven’t gotten to that point of preparation.

Patriot was having a sell in the 1 month supplies. I picked up two of them. They have a 3 month buy getting 3 one months were cheaper.

Anyone have a good recommendation for a first aid kit?

You know we're in a weird time period when Ole Miss makes the CWS. My pastor is a Rebel. After church Sunday, I plan to tell him I was expecting a sermon from Revelations.

My mom made us use that stuff with cereal in the 60's when she was home with three boys and my dad worked at the paper mill in Natchez. I haven't had any since then. My dad also had a second job working as a butcher at a grocery store back then. They were both born in the 30's, so they grew up during the depression, and went thru rationing during WWII.

My dad is 91 and my mom is 87. My biggest fear is the power grid breaking down during a hot summer, like we're going into. We did fine during the 2021 winter, but we only lost power for one night during that long span of 20 degree temps. We all moved into the living room where we have a gas fireplace.

Yes They do. And they will be dealt with accordingly without 500 cans of baked beans buried in the yard "just in case"
