Alright good deal. I assume it’s exponentially better than the one at the cajundome. Last time I went, 75% of the booths were guided hunts... very little outdoor stuff for sale.

Yea the one in Gonzales has its share of guided hunt booths also, however it has just as much, if not more, outdoor stuff for sale. I've never been to the one in the cajundome so I can't say anything about that one.

Well the cool stuff is opinionated of course but they do have some good deals on some stuff (but not everything). At least the last time I went they did.

Examples? I’ve been the past 5 years and rarely anything new or great deals

Seems to have it's fair share of dream catchers, art slingers, and guided hunts booths but there is more outdoor related stuff on display/sale than the one in the Superdome or Cajundome. Matrix was running some pretty decent deals last year and I know Carrot Stix was there selling rods, any 2 for $120.

Deals not so much but being able to see, crawl around, kick the tires on boats is worth the trip.

Worth drive from Lafayette if you've never been. Some garbage in there as is in every type of event like this but good stuff as well. I've been a couple times and my kid enjoys it. I wouldn't cancel any big plans I had just so I could go there, but if you don't have much going on and have a half day to kill I would go

In one of the areas, there is a guy that sells plastic tubing with a brass fitting that acts as a siphon. That thing works great

It’s always funny watching people buy shite that they think they need, but will never use. Last one I went to there were people selling something that acted like a little sprinkler system to cool off the outside of your crawfish pot. Wtf?

Honestly, if you like trucker hats(i do), and long sleeve pocket tees (i do) the place is great

that is 90% of the sales and booths. Pocket tees and hats with some cool southern sounding fishing name

"Dixie Rigs"

"Southern Lures"

"Delta Dogs"

They were selling those at the boat show in the Superdome last weekend too. Quicker to just spray the outside of the pot with a regular hose.

How's the traffic going in and out of there, like off the exit?
