New ones arent worth shite?

Worth something but not as good as they were 3 yrs ago. Colors are inconsistent now. Go look on the shelf at Academy next time your there.

I understand why production got moved to H&H. I wouldn't want to be pouring a billion soft plastics all day by hand to try and keep up with demand.

Pretty false. Covid absolutely murdered it! That 2020 show was huge like the one's before it. We were selling everything then we got shut down Friday night by Governor Edwards (asshat). 2018 & 2019 was awesome, we sold a ton of equipment and large crowds everyday. 2021-no show and 2022 they should have not had a show at all but they owed so many vendors they wanted to halfass make an effort to have one to get those vendor credits flushed through.

This show seems to be getting a weak response and it's not going to be a huge show. If we don't have a great show it'll be our last. Too expensive to get a large outdoor booth and not get the foot traffic.

You will be able to tell by the traffic when you get off the interstate if its worth going to or not.

WilsonPickett, was stuck up and didn’t want to talk to me. Even brought a bottle of burbon to share.
Hang out and drink. Lol!

It was a good show in 2020 and it was growing.
Is it going to be like the bassmaster classic? No.
Not going to see Pride rods, Northfork composite blanks, etc.
It’s a regional show.
It was getting decent for a regional show with local vendors.

Wilson, went Thursday and you had a great booth.

Sat, I was fishing and got calls from friends who are equipment dealers in other regional shows getting shut down.

I just got an email saying Kuiu would be there, wouldn’t mind trying a few items out to see if I like them vs just ordering them.

Laguna Custom Rods will be there. I might go just for that.

Going solely for Kuiu and hopefully some local homemade sacalait jigs. I know it's been hit or miss lately

How does the LA1 map card update work? You can just take it to their booth, and they update it for free??

Was a flop. He said they will only do it there if you're within a year because they are teamed up with another booth who is selling the cards. He said call him tomorrow and pay the $100 fee and he will mail it right out then I can mail him mine back after I get the new.

I spent too much money. Bought a couple Falcon inshore rods from Bowie, found a damn nice pillow, and ordered some Blindgrass.

Yeah, bought some Lews super duty reels and Diawa spinning reels.

Somebody was selling Japanese Lures got me some IMA topwater lures.

Went to Wilson Pickett’s booth no free burbon or beer, hint hint.
No zero turn vs stand on races.
Did see the 34” stand on under $5k.

Those falcons almost got me, and that grass was pretty tempting. I wound up getting a daiwa tatula, some gulps, 1500 yds of braid, and a leather duck strap. I’m excited about the reel. It was almost $100 less than msrp.

I didn’t see the BEDO both. I’m pretty bummed about that ??

I saw your booth, it was too hard to get around the people to get too.

Will check out the website.

Kuiu stuff is legit. I’m ordering a set today for early season. They weren’t offering anything and I have a $25 discount I need to use

Also, as far as foot traffic, it was packed on Saturday. We got there early and left about 12, and there were a ton of cars there and more waiting to get in.

Vendors were hit or miss, but some good local bait vendors.

I have the axis jacket and it’s good for active hunting and I wore it skiing and it held up to a 4hr snow blizzard but it’s definitely not a stand hunting jacket.
I wanted to check out their puffys but will probably get first lite, my buddy has the uncompadgre puffy and it should do everything I need a puffy to do.
