Only decent buck I saw was laying up behind the azalea bushes in my back yard.I have a stand about 200 yds.behind the house,I was walking to the stand when light enough to see.Bastage jumped up and ran right in front of me.
I saw several small bucks,spikes,4 pts,etc.Killed a 7 point cull buck
Stepson killed a 6 and an 8 so we have meat.

First time back hunting in probably 15yrs. First time I've ever been in a club. I'm in area 4. Started off the season great, got my first ever deer with a crossbow, a small basket rack 6pt. A little less than a month later, missed a doe with my crossbow. (never found the bolt/arrow and never found any blood) First of December missed with my rifle! All in all not a bad year, I evidentally can't shoot worth a @#$% Still had fun and looking forward to next season..... going to try turkey hunting, have never done that before

Mine was great. I got a new bow (Phase 4) before the season for the first time in 12 years and went 6/6 on animals with it this year. Tagged out in Area 4 and got the buck I've been hunting for 2 years. Biggest deer I've ever killed and by far the biggest with a bow. Had 3 encounters with him this year and finally got lucky enough to get a shot on him 2 days prior to season closing.

I only deer hunted with my sons this season. My oldest shot his 1st buck, wide 6-point and a month later shot a doe. My youngest missed a doe on NYE.

One buck. Went into the season wanting 4-6 total. Had zero time to actually hunt which started getting at me. Desperately trying to clear my schedule to catch bass spawn.

Great season in Area 8. Got 2 of our target bucks and knocked out 3 does to thin the herd. Had right at 40 hunts and only sat twice and didn't see deer. Most hunts were 4 or more. Best day was opening morning I seen 13 different deer my wife seen 9 and my step dad stopped counting at 20 going from bedding area down into the bottom across his highline lane. Let many good young bucks walk for next season. Should have a couple of them show off
