bought a boat from a dealer last July (2025). I still have not received my registration/decals. Been on the phone with them several times and have been told multiple times that I’ll get it. Yes, address confirmed as correct. Never thought there could be a worse government dept than DMV. I was wrong.

Renewed my boat registration online on 4/16/2026 and got my year 2029 stickers in the mail on 4/20/2026, they must have figured out how to work a little faster.

This! There's a field office in Hammond and one in Lacombe that would be so much more convenient.

Same here. Renewed online on 4/13 - new registration and stickers were delivered to me on 4/16

Update: Spoke to a guy at the registration office yesterday. My email was still in their inbox (512 emails) from 2 weeks ago. He said they are terribly understaffed and their new and improved system was not working properly. Said they’re drowning in boat registration requests. I don’t know why they won’t farm it out to private providers like DMV does.
