Think I've heard at least 60k. Plus you need a lot of time off. Everest us a rich mans mountain for the most part unless you get sponsors.

even I had the $ I wouldn't try it. 74 days is a bit much for me. I'd eventually want to be on a warm beach if I had that kind of $.

An ex was interested in it probably 10+ years ago, it was 60K back then which didn't include getting there and other things you'll need to pay for.
She did end up going to the base camp a few years later with her BF.
