Looking for a good Honda dealership in S. La. or Miss. Never been impressed with the ones I’ve been to. Poor inventory, poor customer service, no followup, etc. Recommendations?

Brookhaven Honda works for us and not too far from my camp.

In north east MS Lakehill Honda sells a lot of bikes. I don't know if they are the cheapest but they move some inventory.

I bought my Ranger XP 1000 from ATV Zone in Roseland. Been doing business with the family for years at Amite Glass and ATV Zone.
I know they used to sell Honda but haven’t been there in years.

Chattanooga, TN. I know it’s a long way away, but you’ll save thousands.

Friendly in Baton Rouge beat out all the other dealers (in south Louisiana… didn’t try Mississippi), and they were no pressure and got the transaction done quickly and didn’t bend me over too bad.

Brookhaven Honda will have the best price, no hassle , walk in tell them what you are looking for , they will give a sheet of paper with options and prices that are well below MSRP and are non negotiable
Thier services department sucks though

Antlers motor sports in antlers, ok. They can save you quite a bit to the point where it’s worth the drive. Gotta call to get the good prices. By contract with the manufacturers they can only advertise online at a set floor rate so call for the real deal. Mr BJ is good people.

Great River Honda in natchez. Usually will beat or match anyone's price.

Shelton Powersports in Alexandria, La is extremely aggressive. They just bought out Loewer Powersports and is tremendously improving the building, service, & stock levels

Go see Russ at ATV Zone in Roseland. He’s aces.
ETA, Brookhaven people I talked to twice were great, it was just that much further. Then I ended up at Smittys in Brookhaven buying my trailer anyway.

McKinney Honda in Ruston has been around forever and at one time, sold the most ATV's of any dealer in the country

I’ve accepted knowing taking tractors & side by sides to get worked on at these types of places is a last alternative. I changed out the shift cable on my Ranger and I can only imagine what it would have cost. It’s not a difficult repair as far as “troubleshooting” but it’s a complete pita. Tearing open the entire cab because they didn’t build a chase for something as normal as a cable replacement. TIA

quote:Bought a Rubicon last April from them. Had 3hrs on it before it started failing to shift. Four trips there to get it worked on (warranty) and they never could correct it. I had to get a lawyer to help me get them to either buy it back or replace it.
Great River Honda in natche
I'll never deal with them again and I'll probably never buy another Honda. Horrible experience.
It's still ongoing. I've owned it 14 months and it's been in the shop for 12 of them.

That's good to hear bc Loewer is the absolute worst dealership i've ever dealt with.

That sucks arse. I was told they have more Honda certified mechanics than most shops in the southeast.
Even if you do save a few hundred buying from outside your local area, it may not be worth it when it comes to needed warranty work. I know Honda has a stellar rep, but so many brands have gone to shite, Honda may be falling in line too.

Got Gear Motorsports in north Jackson/ Madison Miss. I saved thousands and had great customer service on a Honda 700 Pioneer over what was price for same item from that dealer in Lafayette on north side who wouldn’t come down at all off list price.

They still sell Honda, Yamaha, and Polaris. They were very easy to deal with and don’t have all the extra add on fees that others do.
