Has anyone heard of this place? It’s North if I-12 east on 1088 around Mandeville/Covington. I went look at some of the property yesterday. It’s only 500$ a year Land manager said there’s currently 46 members. Just curious if any of y’all know anything about this place

Do you really want to hunt with 50 people from the north shore where the only requirement is to scratch up $500?

3,000 acres. They have 3 spots open. Me and buddy will pay for the 3 spots that will give us close to having 200 acres for our selves

I’m sure they will. I have no doubt. But I come from hunting Lake Salvador. I just want something easy for a change.

Damn, 46 members is a lot. Does that include immediate family or just the paid member?

Should call himself a HR Manager instead. Bet you can multiply the 46 x 3-4 and get the real number.

Good lord. My lease is a little over 2,000 and there are only 16 members and half of them never hunt. I can't imagine the cluster that must be.

My first club experience was 1500 acres with over 100 paying members! Most never showed up and some just came to get away from the old lady. Bear Creek was just up the road. My second and LAST club was 300 acres & 6 members. It only took 1 dick head to ruin it though. I’ve been hunting on my family’s 60 acres with 1 other person for 20 yrs and loving it. 2-3 nice bucks every year. Now the Corpse of engineers is digging a canal thru it! It’s always something!

sounds like an opportunity to improve the place and hold more deer with long food plots on both sides of the canal...

Dont listen to all these negative Nancy’s. Yes, that is a lot of members, however if you hired right you may have some success. Not sure what your schedule is but with that many people I would recommend hunting Monday through Thursday as much as you can. Give it a try for a year and see what happens

46 families going to be running around on 4 wheelers and driving out an hour after sunrise. Enjoy.
