I have the h20 bay with a 150 and it's just right. Cruises good about 52-54 with 2 people and fishing load.

08 SeaPro 196 w/150 Opti

Mainly fish around dauphin island and near shore. It's killed way more white cans than fish tho.

I had a 1999 17 with the dual consoles and a 90 Yammy. Great little boat. Sold it when FIL got that Carolina Skiff in the background of the pic and told me I can use it whenever I wanted.

Thanks fisherbm. The pic is from when I bought it in Sept. 2014. It has been good so far.

Im sure its nice. The 150 will carry the load much better.
I've highly considered selling my 115 and getting a used 150hp. I dont want to give up my warranty just yet and id rather save any cash for a glass boat.

Don't have my own boat, just use my 20 year olds 18'Nitro Z8 (1996 model) with a 2015 Yamaha 150 4 stroke. Boat was garage kept and still looks good. He got a great deal from an old guy who only used it a few times a year, it had a 1995 Merc 150 on it. Son paid $4000 for it then a few months later put the Yamaha on it.

Good decision; the best boat is one you can borrow.
