Hard to believe these folks didn’t know the rules but social media is a strong drug with some people. Will this be another nutria rat saga like the folks in kennah?

they're doubling down on stupid

According to LDWF, picking up, removing, and rehabilitating wildlife from an area is considered a crime. That’s why the Boyers have been working on Dasher’s Law, a law to help remove deer from this list of animals.

I don't agree with the criminal charges for it but damn, they don't sound like they know sh*t about deer. It'd be one thing if the fawn was laying next to it's roadkilled momma but that wasn't mentioned in the article so idk.

if they would worry about real issues like Managing the deer herd or managing the Alligator population instead of playing politics we would be much better off, bunch of clowns.

“We don’t have money for all that work stuff,” said LDWF.

I've been to Starks.. Ol girl ain't bad lookin for that area.

Regarding the fawn, I'm a big believer in natural selection.

ETA- I also think LDWF has better things to worry about and most of them are idiots.

So these people are mad because they disagree with the law or they got caught? If we didn't have these laws could you imagine how many people would have wild animals penned up in their yards? I would have an eagle and some other shite for sure.

Laws are crazy everywhere. Florida brags about the Everglades being the only place like it in the world, so they build a 40 mile highway straight through it, set a 55 mph speed limit, and ticket you if you move a snake off the road so it won’t get run over. And they’ll arrest you for picking up a python…though they’ll pay you to kill them outside of the park.

KPLC reached out to LDWF for a statement on why this law is important to the preservation of wildlife, but we have not received a response.

Lots of Baws are all for this law. They going to be rehabbing some deer right up until hunting season opens then releasing them right by their deer stand.
