Picked up two of the can koozies and 1000 rounds of 22LR for $73. Fruitful trip to Wal Mart.
I wish they still sold it but Thermos used to make a similar product under their Nissan high and brand of vacuum insulated stainless steel products. I lost mine a good 10 years ago but I find the design superior to the Yeti version I have. 1st it came with a nice 360 degree lid so you could use it as a coffee cup. When car camping I would use it with coffee in the morning and rinse it out and use it with beer after breakfast. It was also thinner which means it would still fit in most cup holders (in those folding chairs) while the Yeti has problems fitting unless it is a pretty big cup holder.

"flashlight test"
I hate to tell you this, I did this test on my Yeti earlier this morning, my results are unfavorable. I put a nice flashlight in my Yeti cooler, went and turned off the garage lights. After getting tangled up in a water hose and falling over a ladder, I finally found my cooler. Opened it up and the dayum Yeti had frozen and ruined a nice light.
Wonder what it would have done if it had some ice in it?

Gonna hit up the Monroe Walmart this evening. Which section of the store are they in?

I saw that this morning in this thread. Entered the local zip code and it said:
quote:
$ 9.74
Out of Stock
Est Qty in Stock: 0
But I went and looked anyway. They had about 50 of them.

My local Walmart had about 40 of these things on display. We picked up 4 of them for $9.95 each. If you take the lid off and turn them so you can't see the stamp...you literally cannot tell it from the Yeti.

And it probably relies on a Wal-Mart employee scanning something into inventory. You really going to trust a shelf-stocker with that?

Walmart's inventory system takes 12-24 hours to update in the app, per a higher ranking manager I know.

Put my order in last night and got an email this morning saying I can pick it up today. So I'd hope they would at least confirm inventory before sending those "ready to pick up" emails...
But, this is Walmart and their awesome employees we're talking about, right?

I was there @ 8:30 a.m....
I know what you mean by WalMart employees those tumblers were probably in the back of the store somewhere when they took them off the shelf to replenish the space on the planogram with something else... if backstocked properly they can just use the UPC to tell them where they were put in the back room...
you may just get them...
grab that third one for me if they find them!
