He didn't really go over the duration of eeding tube during the consultation. It is really uncomfortable and really driving me nuts right now.

All you need to know is they suck and you want them out ASAP.

Seems to me like there's gotta be a lot more pleasant location for the recipient

Hey josey, I look at the OB every day and don't post much, and I have been following your story.I have a cousin that went though something similarto you, sore on tongue, surgery, they found it was cancerous. He went throughout radiation and chemo, and he has had no issues since then. He went througt this in 2002

And he list about 30 pounds and has kept it off. He jokes that it was the only thing that worked for him losing weight.

Good luck to you.

Why didn't they put it in your stomach instead? Mrs ST was SICU RN for many years at lake, she said she understands your pain and says you have tough road ahead if they keep it in that long. Not wanting to rain on your parade, but she also said when the ulcers start in your nose they switch sides.

Got you in our prayers buddy.

Keep your head up buddy, got you in my prayers and remember -

Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is.

These cancer redlegs dont stand a chance against ole Josey.

Doc was telling me I could leave today with feeding tube in or I asked him if I could put tube belly on Monday. I opted for going home today with the nose tube with hope of getting them out when I go see him on Wednesday.

Hate what you're going through Josey. Just know that you are in many people's prayers as well as mine.

Take care of yourself and get better.

Thanks. There are plenty more way worse than me out there. I've got it relatively easy compared to most , especially those poor kids that don't even know what's going on.

I've got a good support group and a great wife that is taking good care of me.

I'll be ok.

I go to church and suday school with your sister in law and you have been on our prayer list since the issues started. Will be an ongoing prayer concern. Know you can't eat for a while but told sis in law to let us know your family needs. Keep your spirits up brother And may God Bless your recovery and treatment.

Thanks. She said the jambalaya was good. She said it wasn't hard to put 2 and 2 together once you saw the thread and talked to her.
