I really have nothing to offer other than that. Have wanted one since I shot my dad’s G43X a couple years ago. Bought a G17 off of my older neighbor this afternoon. He says it has never been fired, and I have no reason not to believe him.

I always enjoy reading the OB. Cheers.

Congrats.

Don’t do as your neighbor. Get out there and shoot it. A lot.

I tried to talk myself into buying one a couple of christmases ago. It was a decent deal, but I just couldn’t do it.

You’ll enjoy the 17 and you’ll want more Glocks after shooting it

Have a 43 with the metal mag from stealth arms with a power spring.

I like it so much I'm going to pick up a 19x next after I sell my Kahr cm9.

I'd like to have a 9mm with more capacity.

You’ll Like the 19x, most accurate 9mm I’ve ever fired

That's a shame that right after you joined the Glock club, you joined the "Butterfingers handling a Glock on the edge of a boat in the middle of the lake" club

Agree, kinda regret not getting the 19x over the 19, even thought I really like the 19.

Might need both.

G20 is the shining star of glocks product line. Fantastic backpacking pistol.

I currently have 16 in my collection. No other reason than I just buy them. I have tricked out a couple for the range but most are bare bones stock Glocks. I am not a Glock guy either, I just get good deals on them. Congrats on your new Glock. The 17 and 19 are essentials IMHO.

My EDC is a G19. Has been for over a decade (G23 before that). But the two G17's I have are as reliable as the G19, and have less muzzle flip.

I keep telling myself to give the g17 a longer trial as a CCW piece. The longer grip makes it a tad harder to conceal OWB in the summertime.

Not everyone is a pussy. He is welcome to join the club where we practice so we are prepared to shoot the fricker in the face that tries to take our guns from us.
