Ladder stand where I hunted yesterday afternoon.
Had a young doe within 20 yards for a long while. Couldn’t drink my coffee.

McComb fellas where’s a good place to go watch the Saints game between hunts?

Trusty old .270 Model 70

Treated myself to a binocular upgrade (Vortex). Much lighter and crisper optics than my ancient 10x50’s.

Good luck guys and be safe.

Why not both? I actually got the binoculars and a Vortex rangefinder. Both weren’t way out of line price wise and initial impressions are positive on both.

Committed to spotting scope. I like my old Redfield binoculars, but I find myself wanting a spotting scope a whole lot. I hunt giant right-of-ways pretty often and see bucks that are obviously nice, but I cant tell how nice exactly, and that pisses me off. Not like it matters, I'm not going to kill it. I just wanna know.
