This boards age is showing, IST used to start at 4am when we were all running hot piss and chasing public land. Hell it’s almost sunrise and no thread. Anyhow I’m an old fricker too and just got up the tree

St.Francisville
Mathews z7xtreme
Heavy FMJ w/ Stinger 125
Corn feeder on an oak ridge between a cutover a creek with good bedding and a big draw

Got good cell cam pics of 2 nice bucks, 1 too young, other idk may let it fly if he comes by.

Glad I made it past the bear who’s been hanging out here without shutting my pants or gettin mauled

Good luck today fellas, may your arrows fly true and find vital organs on its way through

Overlooking a dried up pond. Deer were running all over this yesterday. Must be something growing they like.

Also have a fresh scrape to my right.

Coyotes are going nuts on something.

Should be a good morning as long as this Thermacell keeps working

Good luck boys

I'm heading to work this morning. Been reading this board for years, and I have noticed lately how much it has slowed down. Hopefully u fellas get to sling an arrow today.

Lock on
Brown it’s down

I no longer sit in the dark. I get out just before sunrise or right at sunrise. If I was able to sleep, I wouldn’t start hunting till 8.

I had 3 drinks and stayed up until 11 last night. Feel like death this morning.

My Mississippi license expired yesterday so I'm chasing Squirrels in Louisiana until the last weekend October. Usually red hot at the camp then.

Welp I just dropped my first terd in the woods this fall baws! Actually dropped it from 20 ft up a pine tree.
That breakfast burrito hit the chute and there was no climbing down.
I chopped it off and it sounded like a fox squirrel hitting the ground from the top of an oak tree.

Make sure you don't let your bow down on to it or step in it when you climb down

I was lazy this year and didn’t fix the tin roof after a storm blew some of it off. At least now I have an awesome moon roof.

I lost my lease when my buddy passed away in 2021. I still have access to another friend’s ranch for 1 or two trips a year so I can hunt just not the same showing up without putting in work in the off season.

Back in the saddle. Hunting a super fresh scrape line along this dried lake bed.

It’s hot as balls, but feeling confident.
