The river is abt 2 ft away from flooding where I intend to sit - do you go sit there?

Second spots relatively close so it’s same walk

2’ is a lot of freeboard.

Guess I’ll check in to one of these threads for the first time this year on my last hunt.

SW Landmass
50 something and foggy
Daughter jealous of her sister’s success this year and wanted to go one more time. Little too much east in the wind for the first place we were going. Proposed another spot to her. Realized she was asleep on back seat. Woke her up and she sounded like a grizzly bear. Currently sitting in truck on pipeline where she can air one out as far as she can see if she wakes up.

That sounds awesome, hope she gets even with her sister today
Agree the East wind is more stout than I expected this morning, sitting in a box on a wide open food plot in Walthall county, pulled the 338 out again just for the hell of it, would like one more but I have to go to the processor this am to pick up a load of sausage and after I get that bill I might not want another

East central Mississippi. I’m here but not happy about it. This east wind and a flooded creek bottom has screwed up my best 2 spots. Walked in with the bow only to come back out and grab the rifle. This spot I’m in has been dead this year due to a strategically located corn feeder by a family member. This same spot consistently produced 3-5 good bucks a year. Since the corn feeder was introduced.....zero. Hope he enjoys it this year
