It's been bad slow, first opening morning I can remember without a deer being killed. I'm not complaining, most of these guys will throw in the towel if they aren't seeing anything and I can go back to my bow hunting spots.

Man that sucks, I know you can hunt right after logging, but thi timing sounds terrible.
The place I leased to a guy this year is ready for a 2nd thinning, I promised the hunter I would wait until rifle season is over.

I feel your pain. someone, who doesn't hunt, bought the 80 acres behind me. he cleared a 25' wide road and laid gravel. The best part is that the road parallels and touches our property line (an old barbed wire fence) which is the only then separating my food plot from his road that leads no where. this was taken at the edge of my food plot.
