Can’t see the house across the street from me due to fog, doubtful I will see the ISS any time soon.

right here Baw
insane facts about the ISS.
- travelling at 17,500 mph
- orbits Earth 16 times per day, once every 90 minutes
- flies 250 miles above Earth
- the size (L & W) is comparable to a football field
- travel time: Baton Rouge to Houston - 57 seconds
- travel time: LA to NY - 9 min 18 seconds
- travel time: NY to Paris - 12 min 21 seconds
- you would think on a quiet clear night you could possibly hear faint sounds of the ISS flying over. This is not the case since space happens to be in a vacuum and sounds cannot travel in a vacuum.

There won't be any fog at 6pm. 6am would be a different story

Put in your zip code. You can sign up for notices of flyovers. I think the notices are of flyovers greater than 3 minutes.
Never gets old, it pretty amazing

Don’t think I’ve ever seen one that directly overhead. That’ll strain my neck.
Hope the weather cooperates.

You can see the ISS, the chinese space station (Tiangong) and other satellites almost every evening and morning. I use the app ISS detector and it notifies me when one is about to be visible. It gives location, trajectory.. everything including how "bright" it is (lower number is more visible). It'll show planets and their visibility as well.

Rather nifty app.

no chance of seeing it here.

Been raining since Sat or Sunday (thankfully, as we desperately needed it)

Going to be perfect viewing in BR. Clear skies. Moon hasn’t risen.

I timed it just right and had the burgers on the grill so I could watch it while they were cooking. Was great here, but not as bright as I expected. I guess it was just an early pass…
