Mais weh. Feeling a little last minute with only two weeks to go. Still have a few things to do that couldn't get done this weekend.

Took my grandson and two other friends boys on youth hunt sat. Ducks were everywhere at shooting hour. Kids were a little late in getting a shot at em, but ended up with 3. They had a good time, two had to go at 8am to play ball. Grandson and I stayed till 11, had a canvasback hen commit suicide. His first kill with a 12 gauge. The weather looks good for opening day. Rain and high of 49.

I'm ready to hunt back to back openers. Reggio thisnweekend and on to our lease next. Can't wait.

had some birds 2 weekends ago while brushing the blinds and the kids limited out both days for the youth hunt... the snow/freeze should push some more down. I'm hoping to bust that arse saturday morning, then go get some trout if the wind isn't stupid

Youth hunt this Saturday - we have ducks so it should be a good hunt.
