poison ivy on the shaft sounds terrible but the constant burn/itch is kind of erotic.

my girlfriend won't give me any while it is still there. I been trying to tell her it just gives it more texture but it isn't working.

You and that Bossier2323 guy are the two weirdest dudes that wander over here to the OB. Ya'll must be from the same mental institution or something.

Wow. I built up quite an immunity to it as a kid. If there was poison ivy, I’d find it. A couple years ago I realized I had not had it in quite some time. Or maybe I just don’t react to it as bad.

Just a FYI that iodine tablets may not remove all the giardia, it’s a tough sob to treat.

I just can’t imagine I’m gonna find a water source in the local woods. Our water holes are 1 part hog shite, one part cotton mouth, and a dash of H2O

Sometimes I'll get it, sometimes I won't. It's weird. usually it's just a spot or two and just minor but this was everywhere. You could see the on my forehead where my had was turned around backwards and no oil got on the spot the hat covered.

last time i got it, it was bad. my reactions have progressively gotten worse. I had hives (not sure what else to call them) for weeks on my body, was on spots where i didnt' even get oil contact.

me too. I dont know if I am immune to it or just much smarter. I do not touch a vine once the leaves are off, if I do, I wash up real fast.

Used to get it when I used my climber a whole lot. Got to where I used those cotton gloves and threw them away after each use.

I've been hunting for 25 years...and have never had anything remotely close to what you are describing. Just a few redbugs here and there.

Did you go hunting in the Amazon?

This for me as well. You couldn't force me to drink that shite.

Not sure how the OP managed to roll around in poison ivy butt naked, while drinking poo water...makes me feel sick just thinking about it.

Facts: OP drank ditch water and is surprised when the shits ensue; OP, knowing he's allergic to PI, climbed a tree with PI anyway and is surprised he's swole up with PI. OP also thinks a corticosteroid will thin his skin enough his theoretical nuts might break through his sack? Are you sure you have nuts or is it swelling from the redbug bites? Verdict - OP is a GD idiot.
