What’s Up Fellas,

Need yall’s opinion. Buddy just got engaged, Im the best man. He wants a hunting bachelor party and I don’t disagree-think that would be really fun. Where/what should we be hunting? Any particular time of year/place? Any feedback will really help me. Thanks guys.

Blast and cast trip would probably be the most fun for a bachelor party group IMO

How drunk does your crew get. Many of trips are a waist of money because guy drink to much and don’t go hunt next morning. You still have to pay.
Phaesant trip is great because can’t start hunting till 10 am at earliest. Cal set up for afternoon also. Perfect for sleep it off get up eat go hunt. Only takes a few hours so have all evening to drink eat after each day. Will be about $300 a day each.

On a budget?
Pheasant or duck hunt

Not on budget
Wild quail hunt
Canada duck hunt
Or
Argentina dove hunt would be the best IMO

OB ballin
African safari
crocodile hunt (make boots from hide to wear in the wedding)

And I second that if your group likes to drink the early morning hunting hunts probably won’t be very fun

Looks like his wedding will be spring of ‘21 so I guess all ‘20 hunting season will be open to us.
Love ti duck hunt but I think this will be a once in a lifetime thing with a group of friends, Im open to absolutely everything.
Blast and cast is a great idea

Been wanting to try this out. My understanding is you hang out, play cards, watch tv, get drunk and watch the cameras they set up down shooting lanes. They even do night vision hog hunts. Ox ranch

Pheasant in SD is perfect for this. Can’t start until 10, so sleep off the night before. It’s a very social hunt with being able to talk while you walk the field and at the end of fields. If there are plenty of birds you usually only hunt 2-3hrs so there is plenty of free time in the afternoon. There’s not much in the way of wimmin in rural South Dakota though...

Went on a bachelor party/hunting trip this past year to North Texas Outfitters. We stayed in their lodge in a small Oklahoma town. I would not recommend this. We stayed with 3 other groups of hunters in the lodge. Not the greatest combination when a group of 55-65 year old hunters get put into a lodge with 6 baws in their early 20's on a bachelor trip.

This is why I installed a stripper pole in my hunting blind last year.
