For that amount of $ is better be able to call the animals and make an order on what im goin to kill. Have a endless supply of scotch made of gold and a rotating line of super models to receive my seed.

This is a prerequisite for getting into every club that I know of anyway.

Some of those high-dollar, point-counting, spread-measuring, main beaming, "trophy" clubs where you have to shoot the deer with a tranquilizer dart and then break out your ruler before you shoot them don't allow guests.

Save the club dues for gas money and hunt the WMAs and National Forests for deer. Most clubs charge ridicously and then have off the wall regulations and work days and chit. IMO a big club is a bigger PIA than public land, even on opening weekend. I'd find 1/2acre with a mobile home near Tensas or Kisatchie and be my own club.

This is my plan if I don't become a multimillionaire and have the ability to by 5000 acres.

I'm planning on more like 30 or 40acres that butts up to a national forest so I can have a badass pond and a place to ride horses and ATVs.

If you get above elleck there is beaucoup public land and not very many people that aren't already hunting family or lease land. A four hour drive will get you to just about anywhere in the state from just about anywhere else in the state. Land down here is hard to come by because it's magical. Today it's dirt but tomorrow it may turn to water.

I've hunted Davis several times and I have to say it is probably one of the cooler clubs I have been to.

Wasnt there a thread about this place earlier this year? Thought it had a different name though. Giles Island?

Giles is not on Davis Island. On Davis Island there are several different landowners/clubs. The one nicknamed millionaires is actually called Palmyra Hunting club. Several guys from Monroe and other parts of nawf LA.

The Coastal Club, Cardinal Club, Florence Club are all very old S. Louisiana duck clubs that are for the elite of elite to hunt. I have a friend that's family still has a share in the Coastal Club but they can't hunt there as they can't afford the yearly dues to hunt, so they sell their access each year for duck season.

There are a lot of high dollar places around, esp. if you get into the MS river delta on the MS side of the river.
