We have had 8-10 the last few days
I’m worried about the feeders being glass, if I take them down for storm will they move on?
I’d be taking 3 down & leaving 3 plastic ones up

Got around 20 now (up from 6 a few weeks back) and they are sharing feeders. I have 5 feeders fairly close together, about 5’ apart

Way out west, ours are pretty much gone now. Getting a few stragglers still, but our regulars are outta here.

I just have two feeders about 20ft apart and have 6-8 tiny red throats fighting over them. I’m in Hammond. They do more fighting than eating. Not much nectar being eaten.

When do bald eagles typically show back up in South Louisiana? We had two that we saw by our house almost daily last winter.

In the Florida Panhandle they start showing up in September. I saw a pair this morning in a spot where they haven't been since the spring; but are easy to find in the winter. They are starting to re-claim their nests.

The hummingbirds are thick around the feeders now. Maybe 5 - 10 birds continuously.

Also this morning had a couple of flocks of Blue-winged Teal.

I can't wait for cooler weather, not too long now.

They are out in full force. I went from 4 to 8 in one day.

I had been having 4-5, this morning I had to have had 10-12.

I look forward to this evening to see what else shows up

Caught this one in the garage this evening. She (i think) was in there for about an hour with the door open but couldn't get out. I was able to grab her and then let her fly off a few minutes later. Pretty cool.

Yeah. I officially have no idea what I have now. I know they are drinking about 24 ounces a day though.

Ditto. Estimate between 12-20 birds. Draining my feeders twice a day. Little suckers need to get jobs.

Just when my numbers started to dwindle, I got another wave. Two quarts a day now.

Had the same thing happen in my shop and it stayed at the ceiling. Hung a feeder on the door and when one showed up to feed, the one in the shop took off after it.
