Ive got a nagging injury that wont let me hunt but son has had best 2 weekends back to back since .......
well he's only been hunting since 2003....
nice limits in marsh last sat and sun...
timber north sat was ridiculous..
back to marsh today - solid strap of 18

Gueydan was a dumpster fire this weekend. Only shot one speck all weekend. Rice field hunting down there is really starting to suck (inb4itsbeensucking). The birds see the marsh and cant help themselves and just go flying by. Saw plenty of birds headed straight to the marsh.

Mint while we were there... we asked about dry field goose hunting and they said mid December is the best time

Just returned from deer hunting in south texas. Me and a buddy shot cull bucks and does for a rancher friend. We came back with 6 total.

has not been like the 80s since the 80s.......
I haven't been able to hunt yet but our 3 spots have never started better. NE, SE and downriver
