Let's get back to this. When is it ok to bring a kid's death or merely demise into the discussion?

It was a weird development - an old (now somewhat revitalized) shopping area, give or take 50 restaurants (if you count the service road of MacArthur, probably more) - and upper middle class homes. The restaurants alone - remember Semolina's? I dug that place, you know there has to be a story - that was a bank before that, IIRC, and when they closed Semolina's it was still fairly popular - they leveled it past the foundation to dirt. HAS to be a story, right?

Well, in defense of cave, as shown by his short and concise collection of facts, it is almost impossible to die from a coyote. I think what he meant by "get after" is that one might bite him on the leg. Which appears for a nation of 300million is generally the extent of being attacked by a yote.

Ok. Again I ask, when is it alright to talk about a kids demise (death, or a simple bite) on here? If he wished harm on the adult, I wouldn't be here. And I'm no #snowflake either, I'm just asking what's fair game here on the OB.

Yup. Never heard a peep about what it could have been either.

The Rally's at the corner of Veterans and Bonnabel in Metairie had so many rats they were setting off the alarm system at night. It was like a scene out of a horror movie. They ended up tearing it down to the ground and building a new restaurant. I don't know where the rats went, but I would have hated to be living next door.

Shh, let the histronic ones ID themselves.

Yotes killing someone is extremely rare, getting after and chasing kids is pretty common though.

A few mean words used for effect is much worse than any actual action that someone could commit, lots and lots of snowflakes in these parts.

kinda surprising

So this Cave guy proved that there are less coyote attacks on record ever in history than domesticated dog attacks in one month in America. And that getting struck by lightening is still a graver concern than coyotes. I'm not sure his point with human association with food source but he failed miserably with his never ending attack copy and pastes that had little to nothing to do with original statement. If you want to debate make sure you have your case sewn up in a logical step process.

I kindly, and succinctly, asked you to frick off.

LGD breeders are looking for female yotes. I assume for a LGD coydog cross. Increased intelligence and decreased size.

When you say "kid" I hope you mean young goat because hoping someone's child is maimed by a coyote is taking things a little far

You threw a hissy fit about someone possibly having made two coyotes more used to people.

Yeah. Apparently second generation dogs that are 25% or less yote don't have the prey drive of the tote, while being smarter, smaller, faster, and have ZERO health issues to boot.

Essentially they are taking an 8-9k year old breed with very limited health issues and refreshing for US usage.

In the south, we don't really need 150lb monsters when a bonded pair or quad of 100lbers would do the job better.

ETA: I was actually just looking for a female to let my male LGD raise and bond with. Maybe stop luring the yotes into his yard for no other reason than to slaughter the males dumb enough to jump the fence.

Interesting. But has a coyote ever really bitten a human?
