From 15 years old to 25 or so I killed 20 does a year on DMAP property with doe tags. I few years I fell short of that 20 doe quota.

If I had to put a number on it I would say 250ish total in my lifetime.

Like 6. Less than a deer per season hunted. And a couple of seasons I shot 2 in a season so. I've scratched several seasons.

Doesn't bother me. If I wanted it to be a competition I'd be a duck hunter

2. Took about 17 years off. I would rather sit in a duck blind than a stand, but the deer itch is starting to come back.

Since I started to carry a gun my dad let me fill the doe tags and we hunted LA/MS a lot so most of mine were does. I think I'm close to 50.

My biggest is a 130 inch 8 point i killed with a bow. The rest have been smaller. Ive always hunted on public land or heavily pressured hunting clubs. If i can shoot a average buck im happy. I love to see my kids kill em now. My daughters first deer was a pretty 9 point with a hook brow.

Do you keep a log or something? I haven't killed near that many at all, but I couldn't tell you how many. It just seems kind of trivial to keep count of.

Shamefully, only 5. Two on back to back days when I was 15. Then three more with bow and arrow since then.

Probably 30-35 in 20 years. I don't pull the trigger much anymore. I'm almost too selective.
