We planted Alyce Clover, have several mineral licks, distribute protein pellets in gravity and spin feeders, and pour soybeans on ground when we are at the camp. Deer have been on all forms of feed.

Upgraded my bow couple weeks ago. Spent the weekend pulling stands and clearing trails. Also put out some corn and the camera. I'm pretty pumped up about getting to the woods this year.

I keep corn out year round. Having fun watching this years bucks develop. First year I have been able to do this. I also planted persimmon and pear trees

Salt licks, relocating stands and feeders, and clearing trails. Also meditating and medicating to combat the poison ivy.

On feeders, anyone have a preference b/w spin or gravity feeders?

Watching THP on YouTube, staring at onx, shooting my bow, tinkering with climbing setup.

I get so envious that they can scout in Iowa right now and not have to worry about serpents.

I’ve gone scouting twice and bagged a cotton mouth each trip.

I'm trying to get better with form but it still does not feel comfortable as I hunted with bad form for about 10 years.

It's like sex...it feels good when you do it right...lmao!

I try to shoot 4 or 5 times a week, 30 to 40 arrows a session.

Spin feeders over gravity... all day long! Set it to go off a little 30 or 45 minutes before daylight. And again about 2pm but not for very long.

This trains them to know if they want to participate 2 am ain't going to cut it.

It helps if you sleep in your deer stand like I do, so you don't scare them off.

It's almost therapeutic for me. I get lost on how many ends I've shot at times. I shoot 4 at a time, so it's not too hard to rack up 30 or 40 shots in a single session.

Planted around 6 acres of soybeans 3 weeks ago. Sprayed em with roundup last weekend to knock the ryegrass out that was coming back up in them. Gonna put out a couple of salt licks and cameras this weekend assuming it doesn’t get western around here with this tropical depression.

We just have salt blocks and some gravity feeders with corn. Should be going cut and spray in August and then planting in September

I shoot my bow just about everyday . Practice out to 80 yards. It makes the 20 and 30 yard shots easy.. I have some spots picked out to hang my tree stands . Plan on doing that in the next 2 weeks.. put out cameras on a few trails last week.

Getting my gear ready for September elk in Colorado.

I'm jealous of guys that can take those shots. 40 is my max. Just can't focus on that target beyond that. Maybe one day...

Been keeping protein, and corn, in Timed feeders all off season. Set them to 2 seconds max in the AM, and PM. Mostly to get them in a routine. Also, salt & mineral licks out. Along with planting a summer crop.
