Tell me about these pine woods you hunt.

Have an 06 foreman with foot shift, and will be in the market for a new foreman shortly....again with foot shift...noticed another thing this afternoon going in on a bowhunt...would be a pain to shift an ES while holding my bow with my left hand.

I bet it's harder to do wheelies with an electric shift too. If you've got the foot shift, you can pull up with your toe a little bit and rev the engine and drop it back into gear. Not that I would do anything like that..

Foot shift 100%, unless there is some medical/physical limitation that precludes it. ES breaking is like men getting prostate cancer: it’s not if, just when.

You right we hunt up amongst the pine trees.

But it sees it's fair share of water/mud.

Have 2008 Honda Foreman 500 ES and PS.
Hunt swamp and have been in Reb Beer's situation more than once.
I went with ES and PS because of left and ankle and right shoulder problems.
Still riding it and have had not had 1 problem with either. As for shifting and drinking made a nifty drink holder out of short piece 4" in pvc pipe and 4 little pieces of 1" clear tubing. Will hold big yeti type stainless cup down to your favorite color alum can.
