We've got 2 of those type rigs in our shop. Not sure where they came from but they work great. We used them last weekend and boiled 10 sacks in no time. Boil fast and the design is more handy than a pot, basket, burner. I can't speak for the longevity of them, but for functionality they are hard to beat.

How do you dump your crawfish on a newspaper covered table if you use one of these?

highperformancecookers.com you're welcome.
What the hell did you make me buy

120qt pot more than 1/2 full with some wind yielded a 8min rolling boil. I did vaporize a few hairs on the legs, I will definitely need more bourbon to properly operate

If the idea isn't broke, don't fix it. Standard pot, basket and burner setups cook better crawfish.
But I have to show off to all my friends. And can I hang Truck Nuts from the back of the rig.

High Performance Cooker
Boils in 7 mins. The most crucial aspect of boiling anything is getting it back to a roiling boil asap. This pot does it like no one else. They have a series of different sizes and formats.

Last batch was $2,950.

I would think that drain valve has rubber or nylon gaskets inside it and the heat from the burner would melt them the first time you light the burner.

I just used that 120qt version yesterday and it preformed amazingly. It boils water so damn fast my other setups are history. Not only that but once you have it to a boil for the potaos and whatnot you can turn it down to a mouse fart and still maintain a rolling boil.
I’m glad I checked it at night to see how much the flames are coming out the side of it. Cant see them during the day…still singed some leg hairs. You have to be mindful if you approach it while it’s on full blast
I wish I had the 1.5” drain option but I’m impatient and wanted it for yesterday. Still drained fine and only clogged up once. I have a hanger on standby for when I clean my fryer so it’s an easy fix. It’s not as important of a feature to me because of my setup. I ran a French drain along the length of my concrete for this very reason.

is the pot and burner all one piece?
Posted on 3/26/23 at 10:32 am to roguetiger15
Yes all welded up. I was unsure about that at first but after cooking with it I don’t care. It’s easy to move around being all aluminum and it makes it sturdy. You can also swap out the triple jet burner for the banjo style if you want more temp control to cook other stuff with it.

His warning label hurts my brain.

Pricing the poors out of eating crawfish…. Haha
Hardly. With the money saved buying a regular 100 qt. pot and new high BTU burner, that puts a lot of money to sacks of crawfish as opposed to ridiculously priced custom pots and burners.

I agree the flip out kind get a bit pricy. If I was trying to boil 2+ sacks at a time on the reg I could see investing in one but im not. I do think the added speed and construction of the HP 120qt is worth it. It will last a lifetime too IMO.

I've been using the same 80 qt. pot for the past 40+ years. I do occasionally boil more than 1 sack so I have to make 2 boils since the most I can fit comfortably in that 80 qt. pot is a 40 lb. sack with all the extras.
But I don't mind. Gives the people invited time to clear the table from the first boil before the next one comes out.

Those things are nice but I just can’t see having one if I’m not boiling every day. My pots work just fine. Now if I get older, it may be nice to not lift the basket out the pot.

All those are nice but I'll keep my 84 qt pot and my Zokop burner for now. Works great and easier to store when not in use.
