EDC is between Macro and G43.
Always concealed.
Depends on the event. 17 rounds plus another mag is appealing for Baton Rougishu runs. G43 is nice for gym, quick trips into a store, etc. will probably get an XL module and mag and do away with G43.

VP9SK appendix in a Vedder light tuck holster whenever I can pretty much daily.
Ruger LCP II in my pocket in an alien gear shapeshift if I need something smaller

How do you like the Kahr CW9?
I have a cm9. Triggers are the best I've used with all the micros.
I did replace it with a g43 and the shield arms mag with power spring and talon grips.
Looming for a 19x And will probably move the cm9 to pick up the 19x.
I shoot the glock better for some reason. I carried both off and on for 6 months to see how I liked it. Cm9 is more concealable I feel.
I do put in a the stock mag when I want to front pocket carry however this new kydex holster is so nice I haven't carried pocket much anymore.

open carry outside of private property or the woods/water is just asking for trouble, the kind of trouble concealed carry is supposed to prepare you to defend against

Highly recommend the 19x. I’ve had one since the first month they were released and it’s a great gun. Few thousand rounds through it so far and never had a problem yet.

P365 most days. Occasionally lc9, g19, or DW valor. Sometimes it just feels right to have that big 1911.

I don't have a full sized 9.
This has some nice upgrades stock so I'll probably pick one up after I move this cm9.

The 19x is technically not a full size 9. It’s a full G17 frame with a compact G19 slide. Buts it’s a lot of fun to shoot and I like the Coyote color and finish. They’ve since released the Glock 45 which is basically the same thing but it’s black and fully a gen 5 Glock. And yeah it’s a Glock so it’s endlessly customizable.
I’m an HK fanboy though so I’ll throw out the rec for a VP9 full size as well. Not at the same price point as a G19x.

Sig p365 or Glock 19 depends on the day

He is right. Open carry you have a higher risk of being a target and getting shot first

I'm honestly not certain why you're telling me this....but I do agree with you.

Biglego,
A clarification. Although I have a Kahr CW9, the Kaur I showed a picture of and is a part of my cc rotation is the CM9. The CM9 is a little smaller and lighter than the CW9 and has one round less capacity. The CM9 is about the smallest 9mm and can be carried in the front pocket of many of my pants/shorts. I bought the CW9 just as covid hit and for a number of reasons, the two of us have never bonded. The Kahr series has 6,7 and 8 round magazines available. Your CW9 comes w/ a 7 round magazine, but the 8 round mag will also fit it. The 7 and 8 round mags fit my CM9, as well. The CM9 is about 1/2" shorter than the CW9. The CW9 is about 1/2" shorter than the TP9 Elite SC and is noticably thicker. All my Kahr triggers feel like a smooth, DA revolver and break at about 5.5#. OTOH, the Canik is a short Striker trigger and breaks at 4 1/4#+.
Here's a size comparison of the CM9 (top), CW9 (middle) and Canik TP9 Elite SC (bottom).
Here's a comparison of the thickness of the Canik (left) and CW9 (right).
Good luck w/ the CW9. I bet you'll like it once you get accustomed to the non-striker trigger pull.

Thanks for the detailed answer and photo comparison! I bought the CW9 sort of on a whim, read a few reviews but haven’t shot one so fingers crossed I like it. It does look way smaller than the Canik so should be comfortable for carrying.

The 365x fit my hand better than the hellcat. I put the Lima365 green dot on it and have a Vedder Light tuck.

My G45 has the best stock trigger of any Glock I have ever felt. Its better than my Zev trigger in my G34. Great guns.

Been thinking about getting a Hell Cat today I almost did and saw this post how does it fit in a pocket without a holster?
