Yea we have a pretty impressive group of instructors. I think anyone who comes out to shoot a class will be impressed with the quality of the training, the trainers, and the overall experience.

Kind of a weird thread. I think this is the first time I've ever seen people get rustled about/mock the idea of people taking handgun training courses.

Resulted? I just think it's hilarious in a prepper kind of way. These people are preparing for an event that will never occur. Like when someone's Italian grandmother saves the china for when the Pope visits.

I'm just taking a wild guess and assume that posting a few self defense gun situations that have occurred within the past couple months will not deter your opinion one single bit.

You're far more likely to find the morbidly obese "Man I can't wait til society breaks down and shite" type missing the paper at the range than at these classes, IMO.
I haven't done that much of this stuff yet, but a lot of my buddies are into it. And none of them are anything close to preppers, they do it because it's fun. They're mostly professional types who live in an urban area, for what it's worth.
Always struck me as a fun hobby with a proficiency payoff.
