I'd rather not say. He posts here, so he can tell you if he wants. Wouldn't want to out him if he didn't want to be outed. He's the GM of Interstate Guns.

Nah there's disc golf, hunting and fishing, hiking, and lots of other outdoor activities. Some folks just like to pretend, you know, like pretending to be a hero gunfighter.

I would say nice try, but it really wasn't. I mean, I guess that's really all you had to work with

You mean how to manipulate and effectively use handguns and carbines in a manner that differs from a static range setting? Every person in the class saw vast improvement in their shooting. Guns are tools, and one must know how to manipulate them effectively, just like anything else. Just because we're shooting from atypical positions doesn't mean we're "pretending to be hero gunfighters."

Gunfighter, which is indicative of carry and engagement-based scenarios as opposed to pure marksmanship. If you want pure marksmanship, they offer those courses as well. Every instruction outfit offers variants like Gunfighter, just named "combative handgun" and shite like that. Different goals for the class. Classes like that should be used for CCW holders, not the bullshite they offer now.

Agreed, but how are certain peeps going to get their CC license if serious requirements were imposed? We can't be elitist. ;-)

The mischarcterization of people who want to be prepared to defend themselves, with a gun, in a violent encounter, as fantasy heroes is pretty silly. The amount of data that's been complied on the subject of trained persons and their performance in gunfights vs. untrained persons is definitive.
